Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GharSeva (the website and app), operated by Sai Shiva Ram Sirisala, India (“GharSeva”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them.

1. What GharSeva is

GharSeva is an online platform that helps households find independent domestic workers — maids, cooks, nannies, elder-care helpers, drivers and security guards — and manage attendance, salary records, leave and messages after hiring. GharSeva does not employ workers and is not a placement agency.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account.

3. Plans and payments

• Households pay a flat platform fee: Basic ₹299, Family ₹699 or Society ₹2,499, each for 30 days. Current prices are always shown on the Pricing section of our website.
• Plans are paid in advance through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). GharSeva never sees or stores your card, UPI PIN or bank passwords.
• Plans do not renew automatically. Buying again adds 30 days to your current plan.
• Workers never pay GharSeva anything — no registration fee and no commission.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Salaries are paid directly

Households pay workers' salaries directly to the worker (cash, UPI or bank transfer). GharSeva only lets you record those payments; it does not collect, hold or transfer salary money, and takes no cut of it.

5. Worker verification

Every worker, and every household before it can send an offer, must pass a government ID check: Aadhaar (its UIDAI digital signature is verified), a driving licence or a Voter ID (checked against government records or by our team). Providing a false, borrowed or altered ID is a breach of these terms and leads to immediate removal. Workers who provide a police verification certificate get a separate badge. We make reasonable efforts, but we cannot guarantee any individual's conduct.

6. Safety

• Meet the worker and check their ID before they start.
• Supervise the first few visits and keep valuables secured.
• Prefer workers with a police verification badge for live-in or child and elder care roles.
• Report any safety concern to us immediately at shivaramgharseva@gmail.com. We can suspend a listing while we look into it.

7. Worker rights

• Joining GharSeva is free for workers, always. We never take a commission from a worker's pay.
• Workers choose which offers to accept and can leave the platform at any time.
• A worker's phone number, documents and exact address are never shown publicly.
• Workers can report unfair treatment or unpaid salary to us; repeated complaints can lead to a household's account being suspended.

8. Limitation of liability

GharSeva is a facilitation platform. To the extent permitted by law, GharSeva is not liable for the acts or omissions of any worker or household, including theft, damage or injury. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

9. Prohibited use

You may not use GharSeva to harass, discriminate against or exploit anyone, to register with false information, to post fake reviews, or to get around our verification. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and tell registered users about significant changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
